„The highlights of the event were undoubtedly the fantastic presentations about Irish legends, customs, and music. We were completely captivated by the fascinating stories and history of Ireland, and the presenters did an amazing job of bringing the culture to life. The high school students from High School no. 5 and High School no. 30 in Lublin were the real stars of the show, and their short sketch about the story of the Leprechaun had us in stitches!
Another highlight was the live Irish music. We were treated to an incredible concert featuring some of the greatest hits from U2, the Cranberries, and Ed Sheeran’s Galway Girl. The performers were absolutely amazing, and the energy in the room was electric. If only there was more room, we would all start dancing!
The high school students who were born in Ireland and the US shared their personal experiences of St Patrick’s Day in both countries, which was absolutely fascinating. We were also treated to some beautiful Irish poetry – in Irish, no less! It was truly a moving experience that left us with a deep appreciation for Irish culture and heritage.
We left the event feeling uplifted, energized, and inspired. It was an incredible celebration of St Patrick’s Day that truly brought people together. We can’t wait to keep this tradition alive and meet again next year for even more exciting festivities!
